Before
The pool was removed, making room for new outdoor living spaces.		A small patio and deck confined with a rail didn’t offer the desired space.
After
The centerpiece of the new outdoor living space is the water feature: a pond, stream, three waterfalls, and a decorative bridge. Two small secluded seating areas are nestled near the waterfalls, connected by stone paths to the large patio. Several planting areas soften and bring nature and color to the space.		Removing the deck-rail and adding a full-length step combines the expanded patio and deck into a contiguous spacious area for large gatherings. Elevation and material variations add interest, create mini-spaces, and avoid the monotony of a monolithic space.
